Our goal at the Low Carb Nexus® is to
provide you with quality products, at a good price, in as timely and
inexpensive a manner as possible, yet with a "personal touch!" Toward that
goal our Shipping Policies are as follows:
Shipping Time vs. Transit Time

We usually ship within 24 hours of
receiving an order. The next business day should be used in calculating
transit and arrival times. If your order is delayed for any reason, you
will be notified.

We normally ship Monday through
Friday. Shipping vendor holidays sometimes restrict this schedule.

Shipping time refers to how quickly
we process the order.
-
Transit time refers to the number
of days your order remains in motion by the shipping vendor. Please note
that transit time only includes days that the vendor keeps an order in
transit. UPS, for example, does not keep a shipment in motion over a
weekend. So, a three day order shipped on Friday would arrive on
Wednesday, not Monday.

You can use the UPS ground delivery
map to see how many days ground delivery will take to your location.

Shipping time may sometimes be
delayed by 1 day if an out of stock item is expected in the next day.

Personal Check orders will not ship
until we receive your check.
Shipping Methods and Restrictions

We ship by UPS or USPS. Whenever
possible, we recommend UPS because they guarantee a delivery date and
have an excellent order tracking system.

We recommend Priority Mail for
orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, and US territories.
-
We ship to PO Boxes, and APO/FPO by
Priority Mail.

You may select the shipping method
for your order. However, we reserve the right to change shipping methods
if it better serves the customer. The most likely reasons we would
change your shipping method would be:
1) If another method would
get the package to you quicker due to a weekend or holiday layover and
your package contains perishables.
2) A package is “oversized” for its weight. UPS requires large
packages to meet certain weight restrictions. So a package of 12 bags of
chips would be large, but light. Shipping by UPS would require
additional shipping charges. In this case we might ship by Priority Mail
to avoid the oversized shipping fee.
3) A PO Box, APO/FPO address, or other address that UPS does not
deliver to has been provided.
4) If you absolutely want the method you pick to be used, please
note it in your comments. Any additional fees charged by the shipping
vendor will be charged to your account.

If a change in the shipping method
is required the customer will be notified.

If a package requires additional
shipping fees due to postal or ups requirements, we will notify the
customer. If the additional fees are approved, or an alternate method is
selected, then we will ship the order.
Perishable Items
-
Orders containing frozen foods will
not ship late in week. If an order will be held over a weekend at a
warehouse, we will either hold the order for Monday shipment, or change
shipping vendors. This is done to assure that your order arrives in
optimal condition.

Orders containing chocolates will
not ship late in the week in warm months or to warm climates. If an
order will be held over a weekend at a warehouse, we will either hold
the order for Monday shipment, or change shipping vendors. This is done
to assure that your order arrives in optimal condition.

Chocolates and frozen products have
a warning on each product page. In addition, a warning is visible on the
shipping page. This warning will apply even if the item is not labeled
as perishable on the product page. (You will know if you are order
chocolate or frozen foods). If you select a shipping method longer than
that suggested, then we cannot be responsible for the condition of the
product when it arrives.
Stock Shortages

While we make every effort to avoid
stock shortages, sometimes it does occur. If we should be out of stock
on something you order, your order will be shipped and updated to
reflect the stock shortage. The cost of the missing item will be
deducted from your total. You will be sent an email detailing what item,
or items, were missing.

We do not backorder items.

If an item is out of stock when you
order, you may request an email when the item comes back in stock.
Different Mailing Address/Gift
Deliveries

Our shopping cart allows you to
keep an address book of people and places to which you like to have your
orders shipped. Simply pick the address from your list to which you
would like this particular order to ship.

Orders that are re-routed after
they leave our warehouse, or are incorrectly addressed by the customer,
will incur a $10 fee. Our shipping labels are generated directly from
the address you specify. So please double check your address, zip code,
apartment number, etc. We are charged a fee for any changes necessary by
UPS, so we must pass this fee on to you if you enter the information
incorrectly.
International Orders

Please do not order items that are
illegal to import into your country. Laws are different in every country
and we cannot keep up with them all. It is your responsibility to check
with your Customs office to see if your country permits the shipment of
our products to your country.

Your country may impose its own
tariffs or customs fees. You will be responsible for these fees.

Global Express or UPS are
recommended for International Orders since we can track the order's
progress out of the United States. We cannot guarantee the delivery of
non-trackable orders.

Orders may be delayed by your
Customs facilities.
-
Once an order is received by your
local delivery service, your local delivery schedules and customs will
prevail.
-
Canadian customers may want to
consider Canadian Express as large brokerage fees are imposed on ground
orders. These fees are waived for express orders.

Frozen foods do not usually arrive
in good condition due to the longer transit times involved. Joe Bread is
the exception. It can be shipped internationally.

Since chocolates are subject to
heat, we cannot guarantee chocolates for longer transit times.

International orders must meet all
Postal or UPS restrictions. If additional shipping fees are required to
ship your order due to size or weight, you will be asked to approve the
charges before we ship the product.
Problems with your order

While we endeavor to ship
accurately, if there should ever be a problem with your order, please
notify us on the day it arrives.

If your order does not arrive in
good condition, please notify us on the day it arrives. In addition,
please keep the packing box since the shipping vendor may wish to
inspect it. When possible, have the delivery person note any boxes that
arrived damaged.

If your order should be late in
arriving, please notify us so that we may begin tracking procedures.
Return Policy
-
If you have never tried a product
before, please only order one (1) of that product until you determine if
you like it! This is especially recommended for protein bars and drinks
as tastes do vary from person to person.

Unopened product may be returned at
the customer's expense. If it is in re-sellable condition, your account
will be credited for the product when we receive it.
